Introducing a Pre-Configured Outpost Device with OnLogic 

We are pleased to introduce a new partnership between Autodesk and OnLogic to deliver a pre-configured Outpost device, designed to simplify and accelerate deployment of Tandem Connect integrations. 

With this new offering, customers no longer need to source and configure their own hardware or virtual environment. The OnLogic device ships ready to deploy with a security-hardened operating system and automatic updates, helping reduce friction with internal IT policiesand enabling faster time to value. 

About Outpost 

Autodesk Tandem Connect Outpost is a software component that runs within a customer-managed environment—either on a virtual or physical machine. It enables integration pipelines to securely connect to on-premises systems, process data, and synchronize with the Tandem Connect platform. 

Once deployed, Outpost retrieves its configuration, executes pipelines, and connects to relevant systems, allowing customers to operationalize their data workflows seamlessly. 

However, until now, customers were responsible for sourcing and configuring compatible hardware themselves. 

A ready-to-deploy solution 

Through our partnership with OnLogic, customers can now purchase a pre-configured device purpose-built for running Outpost. 

This device is aligned with recommended system requirements and eliminates the need for manual provisioning, hardware validation, and environment setup. 

The hardware has also been specified for industrial environments, making it suitable for factory floor deployments where exposure to dust and vibration is a concern.
